CNC milling machine is a typical product of mechanical and electrical integration. It is a computer as the control core, set milling machine, motor and drag, power electronics, sensors, automation, machine tools and PLC, and gas and hydraulic technology as one of the automated metal cutting equipment. The CNC system (Computer Numerical Control, referred to as CNC) is the core of control, is generally a dedicated computer. Compared to the ordinary mill machine, CNC milling machine processing parts are automatically carried out according to the processing program. The machining process is shown in the figure.
The programmer prepares the machining process (machine selection, tool selection, fixture selection, cutting quantity determination, etc.) according to the part drawing.
The operator will enter the processing program into the CNC system, after the workpiece clamping, tool adjustment and knife operation, the implementation of processing procedures.

The basic features of CNC milling machine are:
1) There is no need to intervene too much in the process of machining, and the effect of machining accuracy is reduced to the minimum.
2) CNC mill machine itself mechanical precision and control accuracy are higher, every step in the machining process strictly in accordance with the processing procedures to ensure the accuracy of parts processing and consistency of accuracy.
3) CNC milling machine has high degree of automation, such as automatic tool change, automatic tool setting, etc., effectively shorten the non cutting time, high milling processing efficiency.
4) After adopting standardized and modularized cutters and clamps, different parts can be machined only by changing the corresponding processing program, and the adaptability is strong.
